So what is The Bottesford Bar?

It is a place of wonder, enchantment and... wonder... It consists of a small room loaded with a bar (of course!), smoke machine, lighting system, giant Proteus egg painting as well as more oddness than contained in Bill Oddie's beard.


It began in 1999 with the installation of two spirit optics and went on from there.. It was used as a party venue almost weekly from 1999-2002 and then sporadically until 2005 when it closed after Nick (who's bedroom it was located in) left home.

In 2005 the bar closed and during 2006 was redecorated back into a normal looking bedroom/sitting room - you can see the results of this here:

The Bottesford Bar is not dead - it has a new home a few miles away from its original location. We no longer call it 'The Bottesford Bar' (as there is only one original Bottesford Bar) but do continue to use the sound and lighting equipment for parties and general sillyness...
