hi all , i'm new here, and i have got together quite a little collection of old notts pics, especially the lost railways. heres something you might enjoy an aerial shot of the midland station from around 1927, clearly showing the GCR overbridge

:D I also thank you for a great photo. I can just make out West Signal Box where I worked as a Train Recorder after transferring there from the Middle Furlong Rd Motive Power Depot as a Engine Cleaner. Cheers to you all from Johno.
